The Grandeur Super Auto Clutch |

1. Remove adjuster screw by first loosening jam nut then back allen bolt completely out. |
2. Remove Shoulder bolts & springs. |

3. Discard pressure plate.. |
4. Remove ALL clutch disc and plates. |
||||||||||||||||

6. Install six new supplied dowels in the spaces where you just removed the original six. . |
7. Reinstall clutch disc and plates as follows:... |

8. Install new pressure plate assembly using supplied 8-32 socket head screws, use supplied threadlocker on screw threads. |
If you do not have enough travel (.070-.100) |

At this point check for proper clearance by pushing in on center of pressure plate. You should have |

9. Install adjuster bolt and jam nut. Adjust clutch for proper free travel. Run adjuster in until it just touches. Then back it out TWO full turns. This is a good starting point. Clutches typically adjust properly between 1 1/2 and 3 turns. |
